  and AccomplishmentsCDBG-CV #9300-C19 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Wedne
 sday\, April 13\, 2022\, at 6:00 p.m.\, the Santee-Lynches Regional Counci
 l of Governments\, on behalf of Sumter County\, will hold a “Virtual” Gran
 t Closeout Public Hearing to review program accomplishments conducted unde
 r a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) project known as the FAR U
 V School Buses. The Santee-Lynches area put together a project and used $9
 18\,355.91 of CDBG-CV funding for a regional project supported by Clarendo
 n\, Kershaw\, Lee and Sumter Counties. Santee Lynches collaborated with si
 x School District Superintendents in our region: Clarendon 1\, Clarendon 2
 \, Clarendon 3\, Kershaw\, Lee and Sumter and executed one project. Our pr
 oject put FAR-UV Light technology on school buses which is 99.9% effective
  at killing pathogens. As a result of this light saturation all pathogens\
 , whether airborne or surface bound\, will be destroyed. The technology pr
 ovides an ongoing passive disinfection/decontamination\, and we will utili
 ze units for buses that cover 300 Sq Ft. Anyone interested in joining the

 earing and the matters to be discussed will serve as advertisement to the 
 local community that the FAR-UV School Buses was completed and closed out
